Our Story

Scott Kuchel is a 3rd generation builder and has been in the industry for over 26 years. He worked with his father, Blaine, and uncle, Ken, over the years building and developing several large developments in the Lakes area. Perhaps the most well-known, Nature Trails in Milford Iowa. Scott’s father Blaine retired in 2018 and Scott then took over as the CEO of the family business. Scott will continue to build out Nature trails and by next year it will be complete. In April of 2022 Scott and his wife Lori purchased 8 acres of land in Spirit Lake and are now in the process of converting it into a luxury townhome development.

Scott and Lori reside in Spirit Lake, where they raise their family and have strong ties with the community.  Their love and experiences in Spirit Lake is what drew them to this next stage of building homes for other families to enjoy the beauty of Spirit Lake, slow down and take in the moments.
